SNDT Women’s University stands united against ragging!
Under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Ujwala Chakradeo, Registrar Dr. Vilas Nandavadekar, Asst Dean of Student Development Dr. Nitin Prabhutendolkar, and Hostel Incharge Dr. Shobha Gaikwad, we hosted an impactful Anti-Ragging Awareness program on 13th August 2024. 🚫👊
Key highlights: Senior Railway Police Inspector from Churchgate branch educated students on laws, self-protection, emergency helpline numbers, and ensured ongoing support.
Advocate Disha Vardhan, our legal advisor, spoke on the legal consequences of ragging and promoted a culture of being a buddy, not a bully.
Hon’ble VC Prof. Chakradeo emphasized women empowerment, the importance of open communication, and the University’s open door policy.
Registrar Dr. Nandavadekar discussed the roles of the Anti-Ragging Committee and the significance of filling the online Anti-Ragging Undertaking.
