Ramkrishna Bajaj-CFBP consumer Education and Testing Centre is a non profit organization. We are the unique blend of Education-SNDT Women’s University, Industry –Ramkrishna Bajaj and Consumer forum – CFBP

History of The Center

The center started in 1992-93, is the outcome of generous donation from Shri Ramkrishna Bajaj and the council for Fair Business Practices on the occasion of the Jamnalal Bajaj centenary celebrations.Sinces October 1997,the center is household in separate premises of its own.

Objective

The main aim of the center is to create awareness among consumer and provide services to industry for quality testing of consumer product. The center also serves as a resource center for consumers seeking information, guidance/consultation and testing.

Our centre is equipped with sophisticated instruments like GCMSMS, LC, GC, AAS, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer to provide the analytical needs of various industries like Food, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Chemicals, Water and Its related products.

Development of Test/Kits for adulterationThe center has developed a Home Level Adulterstion Testing Kit, which is available to organizations and consumers on request.
Research and developmentThe New Product Development and TestingThe facilities include a test kitchen with all the equipment commonly found in domestic kitchens. Having this, which is consulted by our nutritionist that means we will be able to develop products and can able to give complete chemical, Microbiological and Sensory support. Able to create food products on site for evaluation. Again focuses on the food industry keeping consumer centric and not just testing, working with it to produce safe, reliable quality products to the benefit of all.
