Healthy Practices of The Department

  • Maintain good communication among the stakeholders.

  • To arrange GENERAL BODY MEETING  with students in each term.

  • To conduct Seminars, Group Discussions or debates at the end of the each Term.

  • To develop aptitude of students towards competitive Exams.

  • To guide them about Career  guidance, Personality development and life skills.

  • Establishment of Computer Lab and to encourage them for using it.

  • To encourage learning environment through use of LCD, HANDYCAM, in teaching.

  • To encourage  students to use available resources in the department. (DEPT.LIBRARY,COMPUTER, LCD, HANDYCAM) developing  their Projects and to create research aptitude among students.

  • Taking efforts for smooth running of Administrative work in the department.

  • To start or  develop WALL MAGAZINE with contribution of all Stakeholders.

  • To develop SELF-ESTEEM of Students through giving Group Presentations per term.

  • Display of relevant  information related with subject

  • To ask the students to fill up the feedback form at the end of the every year and try to overcome the lackings among teacher, admin-work, and Dept. library.     

Examination System:

  • Semester System

  • Choice Based Credit System

  • The current choice Based Credit system is conducive for Interdisciplinary course, the students can  opt  for 4 Credits in each semester  from the following disciplines.
    History, Political Science, Economics, commerce.

  • Inter disciplinary approached adopted by the university encourages students to study  credits  from various  disciplines.

  • From Academic Year 2013-14 University had introduced INTERNSHIP and RESEARCH Component for M.A students.

  • In the year 2014-15 our students had joined as INTERN and done their INTERNSHIP Successfully.

  • M.Phil. discontinued from the year 2010 because of decreasing numbers of applicants,as it is no longer an essential qualification for teaching jobs.
