The aim of the conference is to recognize the different provisions recommended by NEP 2020 to redesign the ecosystem of preschool to ensure the holistic development of children during preschool years.

The conference will focus on the ideas and the principles of preschool education envisaged by NEP 2020 such as development of good human beings who are capable of rational thoughts & the actions, possessing compassion & empathy, courage & resilience, scientific temperament & creative imagination with sound ethical morals and values.

Apart from incorporating development of cognitive capacities, fundamental literacy and numeracy skills, higher order cognitive capacities such as critical thinking and problem solving, the way of enhancing other capacities such as social, ethical and development of emotional capacities among preschool age children will also be deliberated. The conference deliberations will be led by renowned professionals, researchers and practitioners in the field of early childhood education.

The primary objective of this conference is to promote and integrate the provisions outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to improve the quality of preschool education. In this context, any ideas or models for effectively implementing NEP 2020 at the preschool level are invited.
